Pharmacological action
Antiulcerous action. Gets into parietal cells of a mucosa of a stomach, collects in them and it is activated at acidic value pH. Stops an exit of ions of hydrogen in a gastric cavity, and blocks a final stage of secretion of a hydrochloric acid. Reduces level basal, total amount of gastric secretion and Pepsinum allocation. After unitary reception (20 mg) oppression of gastric secretion comes within the first hour and reaches a maximum in 2 hours. The effect proceeds about 24 hours. Ability of parietal cells to produce a hydrochloric acid is restored within 3-5 days after the therapy termination. Bactericidally influences on Helicobacter pylori. Quickly and almost it is completely soaked up from GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, bioavailability makes no more than 65 %. The maximum concentration is reached in 3-4 hours. It is excreted basically by kidneys in the form of metabolites and through an intestine.
Indications to application
Stomach and duodenum peptic ulcer in an exacerbation phase, including refractory to therapy by H2-antihistaminics, a reflux-ezofagit, including erosive and ulcerative, pathological hypersecretory conditions (a polyendocrine adenomatosis, a system mastocytosis, a stressful ulcer, including preventive maintenance), a round ulcer GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, caused Helicobacter pylori, NpVs-gastroenteropatii, erosive and cankers of a stomach and a duodenum at a HIV-infected of patients, not ulcerative dyspepsia.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, feeding by a breast.
Side effect

From cardiovascular system and blood: on occasion - a thrombocytopenia, a leukopenia, a neutropenia, an eosinopenia, a pancytopenia, a leukocytosis, an anaemia. From genitourinary system: seldom - a hematuria, a proteinuria, peripheric edemas, an infection of urinary ways. From integuments: on occasion - a photosensitization, an alopecia. Allergic reactions: seldom - a dermal eruption, an urticaria, an itch, on occasion - a bronchospasm, a Quincke's disease, an intersticial nephritis, an anaphylactic shock. Other: on occasion - a pain in a thorax, a gynecomastia.
Interaction
Bioavailability of any medical product which absorption depends from pH (salts of iron, etc.) changes.
Overdosage
Symptoms: dryness in a mouth, a nausea, a sight illegibility, a headache, diaphoresis intensifying, a rush of blood to the person, a tachycardia, drowsiness, confusion of consciousness. Treatment: the symptomatic; the dialysis is ineffective.
Special indicatings
Restrictions to application. Chronic illnesses a liver, and also children's age (an exception - syndrome Zollinger - Allison). Before the treatment beginning it is necessary to exclude presence of a malignant neoplasm in GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, especially at a stomach ulcer (because of possibility of delection of symptoms and augmentation of time before diagnosis statement). Against serious hepatic insufficiency treatment is possible only under the careful medical control. At simultaneous appointment of warfarin monitoring of concentration of anticoagulant in blood serum or regular definition of a prothrombin time with the subsequent updating of a dose is recommended.
