Active substance - Amoxicillin.
Pharmacological action
Antibacterial (bactericidal). It is stable in acidic medium, food intake does not influence absorption. Collects in therapeutic concentration in a peritoneal liquid, urine, contents of dermal blisters, a pleural exudate, lungs, a mucosa of an intestine, female genitals, a middle ear liquid, a cholic bubble and bile, foetus tissues. Action develops through 15-30 mines after introduction and lasts 8 h. Has the wide spectrum of antimicrobic action including Staphylococcus spp., except the strains producing a penicillinase, Streptococcus spp. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, some strains Salmonella, Shigella, Klebsiella and Haemophilus influenzae.
Indications to application
Infections of respiratory tracts and ENTs-organs (a bronchitis, a pneumonia, quinsy, an acute average otitis, a pharyngitis, a sinusitis), genitourinary system (an urethritis, a cystitis, a pyelonephritis, an endometritis, an uncomplicated gonorrhea), a skin and soft tissues, GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT (a peritonitis, a coloenteritis, a cholecystitis, a cholangitis, a typhoid); a canicola fever, a listerosis, a meningitis, illness Lima, preventive maintenance of an endocarditis and a surgical infection; the combined therapy of a gastritis and a peptic ulcer (in a combination to metronidazole), a sepsis (together with aminoglycosides).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to other Penicillinums, cephalosporins), an allergic diathesis, a bronchial asthma, a pollinosis, an infectious mononucleosis, a lymphoid leukosis, diseases GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT in the anamnesis (especially a colitis bound to application of antibiotics).
Side effect

Interaction
Reduces effect extrogen-contain peroral contraceptive preparations, reduces a clearance and raises toxicity of Methotrexatum. Strengthens a digoxin absorption. Antibacterial activity decreases bacteriostatic chemotherapeutic agents and antacids, is enlarged - aminoglycosides and metronidazole. Allopyrinolum - enlarges occurrence of a dermal eruption.
Overdosage
Symptoms: a nausea, vomiting, a diarrhoeia, disturbance of vodno-electrolytic balance. Treatment: a gastric lavage, appointment of the activated coal, saline laxatives, correction of vodno-electrolytic balance; a hemodialysis.
Special indicatings
With care apply at an urticaria and a hay fever. It is necessary to supervise periodically function of kidneys, a liver and a hemopoiesis at long therapy. Treatment necessarily continue 48-72 h after disappearance of clinical signs of disease. At pregnancy and a lactemia apply under vital indications taking into account expected effect to mother and potential risk for a foetus or the child. For a course thoracal feeding is excluded.
