Tricor (Fenofibrate)Pharmacological action
Hypolipidemichesky preparation. Fenofibrate - the active substance of a preparation. The mechanism of Tricor action consists of activation by a preparation of recently open nuclear activated alpha receptor, being the factor of a transcription and participating in process of reprogramming of an expression of the genes involved in a lipide exchange. Activating structure PpAralfa, Tricor suppress an expression of the genes coding synthesis of apoproteins B, synthesised in a small amount, are easily grasped by means of LPNP-RECEPTORS and are activly metabolized, not participating in formation of an atherosclerotic plaque; enlarges an expression of the gene coding apoproteins AI; Tricor is reduced by level of urinary acid at patients with a hyperuricemia.
Indications
- A hypercholesterinemia;
- The admixed lipidemia.
Dosage regimen
Tricor prescribe on 1 kaps./24h during one of the basic food intakes. Duration of therapy is established by the attending physician. During therapy diet observance is recommended.
Side effect
From osteomuscular system: morbidity, delicacy. At the treatment termination these phenomena, as a rule, are reversible.
From the alimentary system: a dyspepsia, transitional rising of activity of hepatic transaminases.
Allergic reactions: a dermal eruption, an itch, an urticaria, a photosensitization.
In some cases after several months of application of a preparation there can be reactions of photosensitivity in the form of an erythema, papules, blisters, an eczema.
Contraindications
- The expressed disturbances of function of a liver;
- The expressed disturbances of function of kidneys;
- A congenital galactosemia;
- Deficiency of a lactase;
- Children's and teenage age till 18 years;
- Pregnancy;
- A lactemia (thoracal feeding).
Pregnancy and lactemia
Tricor is contraindicative to application at pregnancy and in a lactemia (thoracal feeding), in connection with absence of data about safety of application of a preparation during these periods.
Special indicatings
In the absence of effect after 3-6 months preparation reception accompanying or alternative therapy can be prescribed.
These processes occur more often at the lowered level of an albumin of a blood plasma.
Tricor contain lactose, therefore it is contraindicative at a congenital galactosemia, deficiency of a lactase, a glucose or galactose sprue.
In need of joint Tricor application and anticoagulants level of a prothrombin is recommended to correct doses of anticoagulants during Tricor treatment and later 8 days after its cancellation.
The control of laboratory indicators
At long treatment the control of activity of hepatic transaminases everyone 3 months in the first year of therapy is necessary. In cases of rising of activity of enzymes of nuclear heating plant more than in 3 times in comparison with the top border of norm preparation reception stop.
Overdosage
Symptoms: specific symptoms it is noted.
Treatment: if necessary spend symptomatic therapy.
Medicinal interaction
At joint Tricor application and indirect anticoagulants probably intensifying of their effect and rising of risk of occurrence of bleedings that is bound to replacement of anticoagulant from places of linkage with fibers of plasma.
