Scientists have found a way of early diagnostics of a cancer of lungs
The group of the Israeli scientists has developed an effective method of the early diagnosis of a cancer of lungs by means of nano-technology. The minisensor control made of gold, allows to find out signs of a cancer of lungs before the tumour is visible on a X-ray.
The device is cheap enough and can fill up an arsenal of instruments of the family doctor. He allows to predict a cancer of lungs in 86 % of cases.
Nano-sensor controls find out so-called unstable organic particles in breath of the patient which are one of illness first signs.
The principal of group of researchers, Hossam Hayek speaks: "Usual ways of diagnosing of a cancer of lungs are inapplicable for research of the big groups of the population - they the expensive and sometimes do not notice already existing tumour".
Of a cancer of lungs annually die 1,3 million person. Only 15 % of the people who have received the similar diagnosis live after that as early as five years - just because, as a rule, illness distinguish too late.
According to Hayek, the sensor control, after corresponding large-scale tests, can arrive in a batch production within the next five years.
