Scientists from the Hong Kong Polytechnical university have developed a new medicine which will relieve sick of a cancer of necessity to be exposed to chemotherapy, informs on Tuesday "South China Morning the Post".

The preparation under name VSA contains the enzymes blocking the basic nutrient of cancer cells, and sick cells perish for hunger. Thus the new medicine does not damage the next healthy cells and, unlike chemotherapy, does not cause ill effects, abaissement of hair and a nausea. Preliminary researches have proved efficiency of a preparation in struggle against a cancer of a breast, lungs, a liver, a pancreas, a skin. According to scientists, the medicine will arrive in the mass use after a series of long tests which will occupy about 10 years. The merit of the Hong Kong scientists has been noted by the award at the international exhibition of the inventions, new technologies and production in Geneva.
