The unexpected and unpleasant by-effect is found out in contraceptive preparations. Leading experts declare: hormones which contain in contraceptive pills, are capable to cause hair loss in young women.
David Sellindzher, the director of the International association trichologist asserts, that daily faces, at least, one case of weakening and hair loss because of reception of contraceptives.

Some contraceptives of new generation can to activate, on the contrary, growth of hair and to improve their condition. But older preparations cause predisposition to a baldness. According to experts, the reason consists in the maintenance in contraceptive preparations of a hormone progesterone. It is a female steroid sexual hormone. On some women its maintenance in pills can make unexpected effect, such as a baldness.

Experts - genetics consider, that the reason of it consists in genetic predisposition of women. It concerns approximately 5 % from the general number accepting contraceptive pills. The greatest peak of problems with hair because of contraceptives is necessary on women at the age from 20 till 30 years.

Physicians have noticed, that, after cancellation of reception of contraceptive tablets, a condition of hair of their patients, as a rule, improves. They urgently recommend to the women, faced such problem, to pass to other method of preservation from undesirable pregnancy.
