The carcinoma cutaneum will cure Emplastrum!
The British scientists have developed unique electron Emplastrum which is intended for carcinoma cutaneum treatment. Patients can wear this device during movement, that essentially reduces time which it need to be spent in hospitals. The device under name Ambulight PDT is developed by experts from hospital Ninewells in the Scottish Dundee. With its help carcinoma cutaneum treatment becomes not only mobile and much more convenient, but it does not leave after itself any traces, like scars on a skin. Small-type (5 sm) LED device charging (size about a player iPod) within three hours. After that it is ready to work.
Emplastrum is located on the skin of the patient preliminary processed by a special cream, and then joins. The device uses a principle of electromagnetic therapy - photochemical reaction kills a tumour. Until recently this method of treatment looked so: patients in hospital waited three hours, while will work a cream, and then passed through a 20-minute session of intensive light therapy. But by means of Ambulight PDT all becomes faster and more operatively. The cream is put in hospital, then people come back to the daily affairs, include a device and pass treatment.
The founder of the device professor Ajfor Semjuel considers this efficiency as the main advantage Ambulight PDT. "Where it is more convenient for the patient if it can move, instead of lay in a bed, - professor Semjuel speaks. Is can accelerate treatment of a carcinoma cutaneum. Today we in the country have all some places in which patients can receive the qualified treatment of a carcinoma cutaneum with use of the necessary equipment. And there can treat the limited quantity of patients. My invention is accessible to all".
For today therapy by means of Ambulight PDT there have passed already 50 patients. Experts recognised results of treatment positive.
