Paracetamol even in small doses is dangerous to teenagers. To such conclusion the New Zealand scientists have come.They managed to find out, what even insignificant reception of paracetamol by teenagers can enlarge considerably risk of development of such dangerous disease, as an asthma. Researchers from New Zealand have taken part in the International research of an asthma and an allergy at children (ISAAC). In this scale action have been involved more than three hundred thousand teenagers from 50 countries of the world. With it have suggested to fill special questionnaires which concern asthma and allergy symptoms.
In particular, questionnaires contained questions concerning reception of preparations which structure includes paracetamol. Teenagers should define, how often they accept such medicines. It was found out, that paracetamol reception at least time for a year raises risk of development of an asthma for 43 percent. Reception of times in a month - in two and a half time.
The principal of research Richard Bizli has declared, that the further urgent researches are necessary to study the taped interrelation. Probably, results of these researches will force physicians to refuse appointment to juvenile patients of paracetamol and other febrifugal preparations.
