The Finnish scientists have found out, that the premature ejaculation has the genetic reasons, informs EurekAlert. Results of work Pekka Santtila, Kenneth Sadnabba (Kenneth Sandnabba) and Patrick Jern are published in Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy.
To study influence of various factors on occurrence of erectile dysfunction (sex disorder in which result the man cannot support an erection, sufficient for sexual intercourse fulfilment) and premature ejaculations (ejaculation) during the first sexual intercourse, researchers from Turku (Finland) have interrogated 3186 twins of a male.

As a result of research it has been established, that the unfamiliar partner, a strong intoxication (for example, alcoholic intoxication) during the first sexual intercourse, and also unwillingness to enter long relations with the partner are principal causes of the sex dysfunction which have been not bound to the medical reasons. Whereas the premature ejaculation in larger degree has been caused genetic, rather than by external factors.

In the previous researches of the reasons of a premature ejaculation scientists from Holland have confirmed communication of the given disorder with a gene which is responsible for regulation of a serotonin. Work of the Finnish scientists is one more step on a way to creation of new methods of treatment of sex disorders at men.
