The prostate cancer news!

The angerThe prostate cancer is not the death sentence even if it not to treat at all, according to the Swedish scientists. They say, that at an early stage of a cancer absence of treatment at all is not a sentence.
Several weeks ago Hollywood has lost one of the brightest and remarkable stars - great Dennis the Hopper, a star of films "Careless goer" and "the Apocalypse of our days". Doctors have found at the Hopper a prostate cancer at a late stage when no treatment could help the patient any more. And here the Swedish scientists assure, that if the prostate cancer will be intercepted at an early stage it even is unessential for treating. There is a high probability of that the tumour never will develop in something more serious.

Modern diagnostic techniques allow to intercept a prostate cancer at such early stages when treatment can prevent the man only. According to experts from Sweden, the given which researches have been published in magazine Journal of the National Cancer Institute, from all patients for whom the prostate cancer will be diagnosed at an early stage, for 10 of the subsequent the lethal outcome expects only 3 %. The others will survive and without the aid of surgical operation with the subsequent irradiation.
The Swedish surgeons, of course, do not say that a prostate cancer to treat it is absolutely not necessary. They simply underline necessity to watch closely progress of disease which was revealed at an early stage. And if this progress does not occur, it is better to doctors to abstain from any operative actions.
