Scientists have discovered the mechanism of division of cancer cells
Scientists have discovered the mechanism of division of cancer cells. Explorers from Military-medical school Dartmuta have found two proteins which are responsible for a segregation of a chromosome during cellular division. Discovering is important in treatment of the firm malignant tumours losing ability to division because of chromosomal instability.Functions of the proteins named Kif2b and MCAK, correct mistakes during cellular division, preventing an irregular segregation of chromosomes, - the author of research has told Dwain Compton. Also it has published work the last year, devoted to chromosomal instability, having defined, that chromosomes frame incorrect bonds (strand) in a division spindle. It is system of microtubules in a sharing cell which provides apostatis of chromosomes in a mitosis and a meiosis. In tumour cells, disturbance in a division spindle is not corrected, and cells continue to share with similar disturbances, - has specified Compton. The taped squirrels bind chromosomes and a division spindle. The augmentation of protein Kif2b or MCAK in tumour cells recovers a normal segregation of a chromosome.
We have found how to force to excrete tumour cells chromosomes at each division. Instability of chromosomes was studied throughout decades, and communications between strands of a spindle of division and chromosomal instability for the first time have been found.
Results of experiences have allowed us to perceive difference of the mechanism of divisions of tumour cells in comparison with healthy , - the scientist has told. Scientists collect to use the received knowledge in building of medicines, capable to turn development of tumours, writes eurolab
