Scientists have studied DNA taken from culture of tumoral cells of patients with a cancer of lungs. Research of cells has taped almost 23 thousand mutations. Despite a considerable quantity of errors in DNA (mutation), the majority of them have not got to the fragments coding cells necessary for vital activity. However physicians have found out 134 errors in the fragments of a cell which are responsible for synthesis of fiber.

It is necessary to notice, that mutations in separate cells are not transferred to posterity. It means, that mutations are not subject those cells which develop in ootids and spermatozoons. However the mutation can cause transformation of a usual cell in cancer which begins to share uncontrolledly.

This digit can be enlarged, if the governments of the countries do not undertake drastic measures on struggle against smoking.
