The soya will not help women to grow thin

soyaSoya isoflavones - the bonds close on structure to estrogen which contain in soya products, - do not influence in any way depression of fatty mass at women after a menopause. The given researches of scientists from university of Northern Iowa (USA) are that.
Originally the experiments spent on animals, and an initial stage of experiments on volunteers have shown, that these bonds can help with strengthening of muscular mass and Adeps reduction in an organism.

Such assumption was stated by research group under the guidance of doctor Oksana A.Matvienko. It and its colleagues from university of Northern Iowa in Sedar-Folls have published the conclusions in magazine "Menopause".
However now researchers have denied the initial version. To understand, whether can soya isoflavones help women to avoid excess weight after a menopause, scientific observed 229 women-volunteers at the age from 46 till 65 years Any of these women did not suffer adiposity. Examinees have parted on three groups. Members of one have been obliged within a year to accept a tablet placebo (on one daily), the second - containing 80 mg soya isoflavones, and the third - pills about 120 mg isoflavones.

Upon termination of experiment it was found out, that soya isoflavones have not rendered any essential influence on bodies of the women participating in experiment. These bonds do not influence in any way insulin level, leptin, ghrelin and adiponectin (hormones which help to regulate appetite) in an organism. Scientists have found any interrelation between «appetite hormones» (except insulin) and a body structure. The parity of mass of muscles and Adeps remains former. The unique factor thanks to which there were changes in fatty mass, is a maintenance of Adeps in a ration of examinees.

Though results of the spent experiments have not found out required effect in isoflavones, doctor Matvienko and its colleagues nevertheless plan to continue the researches. They assume, that other components of a soya, can affect body mass. For now physicians recommend to women to refrain in the postclimacteric period from the use soya isoflavones for depression of mass of a body.
