laboratories cultivate today in vitro such tissues as a cartilage and a skin, however scientists from Institute Fraunhofera in Stuttgart have stepped further.They have developed completely automated procedure of effecting of an artificial skin which is much cheaper than known methods of cultivation as the principal of scientific bunch professor Hajke Mertshing has declared.
In brief process of manufacturing of a graft looks as follows: at first a biopsy stuff (the sample of a donor skin) check on sterility, then place in the device developed by German explorers where the skin is minced, exposed to enzymatic processing, from it various phylums of cells which are cultivated in the nutrient medium containing all necessary factors are excreted, and then are located in gel on the basis of collagen. The matrix forms a three-dimensional basis, in which cells settle down, as in a usual skin. At last stage of processing the graft is packed in the sterile package ready to transportation.
Also it is possible to subject this product to freez, that is to refrigerate in liquid nitrogen for the purpose of long storage, the Moscow medical academy of I.M.Sechenova referring to Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft reports.
