Many patients who get to hospitals with a stroke, tell, that were in very stressful condition for a long time before a stroke. This unique research has been spent together with Academy Zalgrenska and University Zalgnerska, Sweden.
Scientists from Sweden have found out, that between stress and a stroke there is a communication. "Our results should be interpreted with care, - one of authors of work neurologist Katarina Dzhud (Katarina Jood) tells. - We interrogated patients about their level of stress, and, certainly, there is a risk, that the patients who have had a stroke, could give the inexact information".

Scientists have interrogated about 600 patients, and have asked to fill them questionnaires within 10 days after entering in hospital with an acute cerebral infarct. In the questionnaire they were offered to choose one of six statements, a condition in the best way describing them to a stroke, beginning from "never was in a stressful condition" and, finishing "tested constant stress in a set phrase of five last years". Answers of patients have compared to answers of healthy participants of experiment from control group. "We have seen independent communication between level of psychological stress and a stroke. Also, we have opened, that dependence between stress and a stroke is various, considering different types of cerebral infarcts", - has told Jude.

Presence of communication with stress was present when the stroke has been caused by atherosclerosis or a thrombus which were formed in small vessels of a brain. Communication has been noted and at those patients at whom doctors did not manage to establish the stroke reason, despite high-grade survey. On the other hand, to scientists managed to see no dependence between stress and a condition of patients in which the stroke has been caused by a thrombus from heart. "We do not know, why the stress plays such important role at development of certain kinds of cerebral infarcts. However our opening has great value as specifies in necessity of the further researches of dependence of stress and strokes", - scientists have concluded.
